This project is located in coastal areas in Pasir Sakti of East Lampung in Indonesia, where women participate in the climate change issue. Women involve in protecting their environment from abrasion through preparing Mangrove seeds and planting Mangrove in coastal areas. Women also gain economic benefits from Mangrove ecosystem such as producing Mangrove tea leaf and seafood. The project aims to realize people’s rights especially vulnerable people at coastal areas to a healthy, a safe, clean, decent, unpolluted, favorable or suitable environment. Further, women in the community realize that a poor environment poses a risk to human health and a good environment is a necessary precondition of good health and sustainable local economic development. This project is organized by Pasir Sakti Mangrove Community with the assistance from stakeholders involved such as Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the SDGs Center at the University of Lampung.
