This is the blue electric car of the University of Lampung (Unila), called Electric Vehicle Unila 01 (EVU 01). This car was built by researchers and students of Unila where the car has weight of 400 kg, 2 rows of seats for carrying 4 people. This EVU 01 uses electric batteries as power source with a capacity of 3KWh, also supported by solar panels as a secondary power. This car can be loaded up to 1.5 tons, through single charge it can last up to 2-3 hours with a distance of 100-150 km, with top speed of 45kph. For its frame and body, this car uses sustainable materials from bamboo and palm fibers.
This electric car can be linked to support SDG 12 regarding sustainable production and consumption, especially energy consumption, as well as SDG 13 on regarding climate change where Unila has a strong commitment to realizing sustainability to support sustainable development. All these are a part of commitment of the University of Lampung (Unila) in achieving a sustainable campus and SDGs.
